Tremor 02:39
The thought that all share the troubles conceived Is not as comforting as we believe This truth trembles as I speak of despair My sorrow does not matter, it's not rare Cold, dead eyes stare back in subtle regret But it had to be done so we could forget In the distance, I hear the tide rising Slipping into unconsciousness, admiring Try as I might, I cannot stand These words will be my last, my friend (Only to hear the static)
15.
Static 05:00
Only to hear the static Feel the pulsation Breathe in your virtue It's what I need to sustain my being An unrequited feeling would sprout And now, we stay stuck in a drought Not being able to shout Our words and strife are drowned out By the sound Of silence Do you hear it? Do you hear me? Only to hear the static And cherish the sting
16.
Advice 02:04
A thorn in my side The feelings she can't hide Appear venting in technicolor Twenty flickers in the static Expose mundane habits Are you my friend or former brother? Help - such a silly, vague word When your ailment holds no cure The pencil is a best friend, unheard, But pardons your mistakes, unlike her.
17.
Presumption 05:36
Fragmented thoughts strung out and wrought Cerebellum's painting left to rot Heartbeat's efforts are all to naught Scaly motherfuckers either catch or caught This head cold for the too old Red or black souls dropping two stones Eat a wishbone, or maybe a vision Of knights fading back, waiting for your fission Sticking to a list of the times we're forced A narrowing path, either smooth or coarse Morse code tells me not to choose your ticket But I'm lying down in a pile of thickets Waiting for a smidgen of life to erupt me Lost Aphrodite, go ahead and judge thee Bow to her corpse, "Isn't she so lovely?" Mystified, they think they're lucky Auditory allegory Morphing horror stories into wars, distort these Lies penetrating their minds, the weaklings Find a scapegoat that supplies all their needs And they're swearing peace out of left and right field Pack a nine mil; maybe then, they'll feel steel Reeling, stealing, everyone's dealing Cocaine in her purse, Rogaine makes you feel worse Is it right to curse? Fuck it, I don't really care who gets hurt in the hearse They pre-ordered it They got four keys to your own storage, bitch Switch the rich's pitch to ritz without a hitch Snitch, and get hit with wits worse than Malcolm Smith (Kids you feel this?) Kiss-of-death lips Grip acid slips, it's hip to step with

Do you...
20.
Ever think of... murder? Some people confuse my won'ts with wills Some people don't know they have killed But I saw them beneath the floorboards It's my concern whether you will forlorn now Selecting the remains for the final procedure Some people confuse my wills with won'ts Some people try too hard to float Vexing has brought me reminiscence That I wish to jilt somehow You persist on spoon-feeding any lost hope I never felt obliged But alas, I can't move Finally your message just broke through: "Ignoring signs just shows what they can do" You have a way of wearing jagged crowns As you cut their faces to turn into a frown I never felt obliged But still, I can't move I know what you will construe

Original statement issued:

"LET ME MAKE THIS ABUNDANTLY CLEAR: This album is not for everyone.

I wrote this during one of the hardest periods in my life. Through it all, music was my only way to get through it, so I was constantly writing to seek some form of solace and therapy. The reason I decided to make this mostly has to do with observations of the society I live in. Thusly, the damaged, punctured sounds you hear on this album are all intentional; every blemish was carefully put together to tell a story. What that story is will vary from person to person, which is exactly what I wanted.

Though the tracks are separated, think of it as one long story-telling piece.

Thank you,
Gonzo"
